Question: What is the best, cheapest flooring for old uneven floors? How much $ $ for 400 sq ft with DIY installation?
I am thinking of buying an old house, but I hate the ugly carpet in the living room. I really would prefer not to have carpet because I have a cat and carpet and hairballs just don’t mix. lol I’m pretty handy around the house for a girl, so I’m open to suggestions for a new floor – even off the wall, tree-hugger stuff. Thanks!

Laminate flooring , you can do it yourself it isn’t rocket science

Un even flooring can be made even with out breaking the floor.Mix plaster of paris in water and apply on the with in couple of minutes you can find the result.on this floor you can fix venyl sheets or tiles.(paste it with a rubber solution.this is easy to maintain. For better result cut the nails of your cat regularly.
