Whom to Call To Solve Foul Smell in Kitchen Floor Drainage? How to solve it DIY?

Question: Whom to Call To Solve Foul Smell in Kitchen Floor Drainage? How to solve it DIY?
In my HDB flat’s kitchen, there is a foul smell which seems to be coming from the drainage on the floor right under my kitchen sink.

The sink has been leaking and so the floor is often wet. The leaked water goes to the opening of the drainage there.

Q1: Who would be the best people to call to solve the problem?

Q2: And if I were to solve it myself, what should I do?

Is installing a kitchen faucet hard?

Question: Is installing a kitchen faucet hard?
Our kitchen faucet got messed up, so we’ll be needing to get a new one. Is installing one a DIY project, or is advanced plumbing knowledge necessary? My husband and I know nothing about plumbing, but he was going to try to fix it himself if possible. And if we did need to hire a plumber, how much should we expect to pay. Thanks.

No, it is not hard to replace, just a little tedious.
First, turn the cold/hot water supply valves off. Put down a towel under the area you are going to work (for water drips). Disconnect the supply lines from the connection fittings on the faucet. Now reach up under the cabinet and unscrew the attachments that are holding the faucet the the counter top. Remove the nuts and washers (or what ever is there). The faucet should be loose now, so you can lift it out of the counter top. Reverse these steps to install the new faucet.
Good luck.

the kitchen is pretty small, and leads into the nook, which is about 7 x 9 maybe?

I would like to use really nice materials that look sharp. Can you give me a range of how little to how much it might be? thanks!

The cost will depend on what your are laying on the floor…lminate can range from $ 0.99-$ 3.00 or hardwood can range from $ 3.50-$ 15.00+. I just suggest you do not buy the cheapest of whatever flooring you want to get.
