Question: diy vinyl flooring?
Does anyone know a diy way of welding joints in vinyl flooring? Or any other way of joining?
if you glue under the joint does that mean it doesn’t need welding?

Question: wooden flooring DIY?
I am putting wooden flooring down in my living room. The fire place wall is entirely stone /brickwork and arcs across one corner of the room , is shelved , and has the tv on it. My question is this. laying the floor is ok ,but when you come to the edging strips how do i attach them to the stone wall. Also how do i get the edging strip to curve around the tv shelf.

Construction adhisive, small nails or staples with a brad gun.
Some floor trims actually click into a plastic rail.

Most thiner trims have flex u should be able to bend them enough.
